I am the grades 3 and 4 teacher and Special Education Coordinator at Avalon.  

I grew up in rural BC and Alberta, where I developed a love for the outdoors.  I received my B.Ed degree from Union College, Lincoln, Nebraska, at the Canadian University College campus in Lacombe, Alberta.  After teaching for a number of years I completed a Masters degree in Educational Psychology at Capalla University, graduating in 2013.
 
My entire teaching career has been in British Columbia.  Since entering my profession, I have taught Kindergarten through grade 9, at various times.
